Yearly Baltic Sea Cultural & Historical Heritage Preservation Forum



The Baltic Sea Cultural & Historical Heritage Preservation Forum is an independent cultural event committed to improving the state of the Baltic Sea Cultural Historical Heritage by engaging cultural, administrative, business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape regional cultural heritage preservation agendas.

Forum is tied to no political or national interests.

The meeting agenda integrates the following key issues: What are the benefits of cultural heritage for the Baltic Sea States? What can Europe do to encourage the safeguard and enhancement of Baltic Sea cultural heritage? The Baltic Sea Cultural Heritage Preservation Forum seeks the answers to these questions by launching and encouraging constructive dialogue between representatives of the Baltic Sea State’s cultural Institutions, representatives of civil society committed to heritage conservation, education and enhancement, as well as representatives of key international partners.

This year’s event held in Helsinki, 24-25 April 2013 have been full of interactive, outcome-oriented format of Forum discussions and all participants are contributed actively to constructive, lively debate.
